Is this a joke without the smiley icon?

Are you a joke....I would hope you wouldnt even think of putting more goldfish in a tank that size. I hope you know the maw size of goldfish. About 6" for fancy goldfish and 10"-12" for comets.:screwy:

Get a few bags of polished river rocks, I get mine from IKEA for .69 each. Also some Bamboo stalks would be cool.

What are bamboo stalks and where do I find them. I am going to the lfs this weekend to buy new plants. I am going to get Tetra WaterWonders Plants. They look really neat. I may also get some rocks and driftwood, but I will get the river stones at WallyWorld.:D

Yeah, I like the first photo better too. I dont have backgrounds on any of my tanks. Just my preference I guess. Add some tall fake plants and a couple of small clay pots in the corner.

Why cant you get live plants? they sell them at petco and most other LFS.

Anyway do yourself a favor, find a new tank, a 20g hi in no better than a 10g. I have always considered a 29g tank to be a decent starter tank, you can get em really cheap as a complete setup, and you can more fish in as they have a larger footprint and water cap

Then a 55 is a common step up from there.

oh yeah, I forgot me explanation. just like people walk back and fourth, fish tend to swim back and fourth (except a goldfish that will swim up and down against the glass in a thousd g tank) plus all water is oxygenated at the surface of the tank. you are tryin' to aerate 20gs of h2o with 10gs capability, so all the water on the bottum is depleated of O2.
