Actually if you have owned these fish you will know that they do great with other tank mates, it's other Dorado or any fish that looks like a Dorado they have a problem with, so that's why you always have to buy these fish in odd numbers

Golden Dorado are absolute savages. Love them. But they can harbor a grudge…..

I've got one all by himself because he is a total butthead. He either physically attacks fish his size relentlessly or his mere presence stresses out larger tank mates to the point they stop eating. He was cool at first but now he starts to get mature he is definitely a tank boss with his teeth starting to come in. I like him though and he will just get this whole tank to himself. I got a crazy amount of current which he loves but most othe fish can't handle.
