The previous own at least had a 400g. Going from that to a 120g isn’t saving them unless you can find them good homes or build a pond. Big fish are tough to sell or donate.
Ammonia and nitrite are 0, low nitrate <5ppm. He's in a 120 4 foot tank with a 2' RTC. Came from a 400 gallon, so they're both pissed. I will get some garlic product today and see if that helps. Anyone know someone who wants a 2' RTC?
Congratulations! That's amazing that your nitrates are so low. I think that is a remarkable thing with two very large fish in a small tank. Pacu are voracious eaters. The only time mine did not eat was when I foolishly put them in a new, uncycled tank I almost killed them.
Pacu can go a week without eating. Please keep checking your parameters..
