I have a 6-7 inch albino oscar. I plan to setup a native tank in a 200 gallon with an aligator/florida gar, various sunfish probaly pumkinseed due to their temperment/color, bullhead/flathead catfish, smallmouth bass, large feeder goldfish to act like a carp, and possibly a grass pickerel. would the oscar be too agressive? Im also think of a school of tinfoil barbs as dither fish. Can you give me any additional stocking ideas? Is this stock ok and will it fit these fish for life?
thanks in advance

I don't think the Oscar would be too aggressive he might even be attacked my natives were mean as hell except my bullhead he would only eat anything he could fit in his mouth

You are going to have different water temp needs with the Oscar and tinfoils than your going to need with the natives. It can work if you heat it, but, the warmer your tank is the more aggressive your natives will be. I'm sure an Oscar could hold its own with certain sunfish. Bullhead would wok they are super lazy and don't bother anything that won't it in their mouth. Another thing DO NOT catch your own minnows for feeders!!! Lol I made that mistake and it killed everything in my tank

Def get a Florida Gar, gator gars grow far too large for a 200G. And as far as sunfish go I'd do mainly Longears, easily ( IMO) the prettiest sunfish out there.

I like the pickerel idea. I've never owned one but I hear they are pretty awesome. You should be able to do about 6-10 sunfish. I'd say a small mouth would be ok but
Never owned one of those either so I'm not sure

alligator gars are way to big mate
they can achieve 10ft in wild and ive seen 6-8ft alligators in length in captivity
