~200 gallon tank help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a 120 and i am a kid. Nothing wrong with it.

For the tank, I would get a 72x24x24(inches) They are easier to find. If you really want weird dimentions glass cages makes some cool tank dimentions. There prices are good, I have never bought from them though.

i dont nessecerily dissagree with you i just thought of it when i posted it, im trying to get a rough idea of what to do. i would like the aquarium to be roughly 7'L, 2'W, and 2'H i am figuring out what kind of canister filter i should get definately a good quality i know exactly wher it's going to go, right across from the dining table we eat at for special occasions
Ehimes are as good as you can get. Not way too expensive for the older models that are hard to prime. The knewer easier to use ones are super expensive. Even though they are hard to prime(unless you get a knewer model) they rarely brake and when they do it old and it is a minor thing that can be easily fixed.

Dont' let yourself be discouraged. Go ahead qith yor project ad njoy.

No.

Although some of the other fish you mentioned would fit just fine.

I have to agree with what some of the other people on here have said: at the 200gallon size I'm not sure if the tank justifies the cost/hassle of a build.

A 200+ can be had on Craigslist for under $500 easy; and most likely will come with a stand as well as possibly lights, filtration, etc. For the money and time spent it just seems (in this situation at this size) that you'd he better off buying instead of building.

Good luck with whatever direction you take and make sure to to pics with updates along the way. :)

You are right I am thinking about buying form Craig's list money isn't A big deal I now have about 500 dollars just keep plodding along not much work with school and stuff
