You just have to be patient. I have bought many of my bigger tanks for less that what they go for in SoCal. Get to know the people in your area and have them keep you in mind. Its easier to find tanks when you have 10 people looking for you.

thanks for the words and i am and i have plenty of time. the only problem is is that i havent met anyone around here with anything bigger than a 75. then when i talk to the lfs's and the largest they say that they can find is a 125. but living close to evansville is that st. louis is 2 1/2 hours away and so is louisville. then indy and nashville are both around 3 1/2-4 1/2 hours away. so that kinda helps out.

and pete thanks for the searchtempest suggestion wow cant believe i havent tried a helper before..... i feel so slow lol. that saves me hours.

If you decide to buy new. I can get you tank from a Perfecto Distributor. Anything that Perfecto/Marineland sells tank wise, I should be able to get. Otherwise, I'll keep an eye out.

You will find one , I was looking for one about gave up and then one day deciuded to search craigslist and found a 300 gallon in st louis got it for a good price to . ... what I am saying si just don't give up

thanks pharaoh i appreciate it. i dont think im going to buy new though if im going to spend that kind of money i would rather build my own and have bigger. but thank you for the offer

good words cakilla. i doubt im giving up anytime soon. i dont have time to build till mid summer so until then i would rather just buy something already built at a good price.
