if this was the biological filter, HOW BIG was the tank it was servicing ?

yeah will be a fun experience hopefully lol, the tank was originally a filter full of bio balls. I have never seen so many bio balls in my life the guy had to dig them all out and box them up in his garage and WOW just WOW lol

lol no, im making a stand from concrete bessa blocks and timber sleepers

if this was the biological filter, HOW BIG was the tank it was servicing ?

it was servicing 3x 20,000 Litre (5283gal x 3) tubs

so last week i bought some structural timber, some brackets and some paint.

This was to give the tub some more strength and also cross beams for placing lids/lights/plumbing etc of over the top.

Also to bung the holes from the old plumbing im not using i simply use a hole saw the same size to cut out some of the tank off cuts into the perfect fit to fill in the holes and then to be re sealed with the pond sealer paint,

I then purchased the timber sleepers from local hardware and decided to put the glass windows in place,

Little did i know i would use so much silicone so i ran out after 2 of the 3 windows. I used the sleepers to put weight onto the glass while silicone was setting.

Purchased some plumbing and more silicone for last window but then it started to rain....
