2000 Gallon Tank

so would it be possible to use that back wall for a wall of your tank and seal it with cement or is that a crazy idea. my house has a cement back wall that has some cool looking cement that wasn't flattened out when they built it and was thinking that'd be a nice background for a basement tank.

yes it would work but if you ever had to foundation problem you would have to take apart your tank to fix it
 
Just caught this thread. Did I see that you used Blue Max? I am thinking of using it myself on a plywood build and have a couple ?'s
 
well I'm glad to see your bach and progress will get back under way. I share several of your hobbys so I know how challenging it can be to make time for them all and a fish tank is easy to put off for a bit as you want to go do something fun. so I have a queswtion though. you had purchased alot of fish for this beast and unless you have alot of other large tanks then you would be having issues housing them all so what happened to them? I'm here to cheer you on. I've got a few projects of my own that friends have given up on askin me about. looking forward to seeing progress.
