I just wanted to add that fuel prices went up BEFORE the hurricane and FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS AFTERWARD. After that time gas prices did go down

You are absolutely right. It went up before the hurricane, reports suggested it was out of fear of shortages due to oil well being damaged. I'm not sure at this time but if I remember correctly only one or 2 were knocked out of commission.

Dodge, you really need to read the papers more. I could care less what you think. I was trying to set the record straight on my side but you continue to add exaggerated remarks and only look to inflame the situation. I personally am done exchanging words with you kiddo. :screwy:

actually you need to read more and stop making up numbers!! 40 oil platforms were detroyed in katrina and 2 major pipelines were shut down. Also all of the gulf coast refinerys shut down temporarily. One of the reasons for the lowering of fuel prices was because Bush released 30 million gallons from our SPR. I also feel that calling me a dumbass kid inflames the situation more than any of the remarks I have made. I am almost 27 years old, I guess if that make me a kid I can live with that. I would rather be a kid that is still willing to learn that an old fart that thinks he knows everything.
