Okay... short story on this tank. I bought this from a buddy for a member on this site who said he "definately wanted" the tank ("Perfect Dimensions") and asked me to talk my friend down in price. Once this friend came down in price as a favor to me then I was committed to buying the tank. The buyer then backed out due to the holes on the bottom of the tank (which I forgot to mention). Being a man of my word I followed thru with buying the tank. Apparently I thought this tank would be in and out of my garage and the money re-imbursed so I used money that my wife got as a wedding gift to purchase the tank. After doing this favor for this member, picking the tank up, cleaning the tank and "borrowing" money I am now sitting on this thing and it's taking up room in my garage during a remodel. So, if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. I'm willing to take a slight loss to get it out of my house..... I'll chalk it up as a learning lesson as not to be completely trusting of peoples words.

Dude.. all joking aside. That sucks bro. Crap, that you are now obligated to this tank and now have to try to sell it to make up for your funds. :irked:

But couldn't your buddy who you bought the tank from just give you back your money? I'm sure he would understand the circumstances. As true you are to your word, he should be understanding and give you back your money.

I probably could have cancelled the deal but my word is my word. He's also under quite a bit of stress with getting married at the end of the month so I know this would have stressed him out a little more since I too just went thru the marriage planning ordeal! He had other offers but "Helped" me out with the buddy price. Overall a leaving a bad taste in my mouth..... the holes aren't even obvious but enough to cancel the deal.

Dam, sucks bro,,, I can somewhat understand what you're going thru. I went thru something similar myself. Hope everything works out between you and both your friends. GL with the sale! :)

If I weren't 1700 miles away, that tank would be gone! Good luck. I would be thrilled to have a friend as good to his word as you are....
