Hi everyone
I got this cute little leopard pleco about 3months ago and he is growing so well and really becoming a cool guy :D I am currently debating what to put in my empty 200Gal in the living room and I think it will become his tank. I need some advice on what else I could put in with him. I would like to add another pleco which will get along with him and grow to a similar size, maybe a little smaller. I would also like a few varieties of fish, maybe an oscar. I like slow moving fish.

My water is very hard and a pH of 7.5.
The tank has a very powerful SUMP filter running.

thank you!

Looks great! Is that the gibbiceps variety I wonder? If you're looking for slow fish, Oscars would definitely fit the bill, especially in a 200 gallon. In my experience most fish can be put in with plecs, they just don't bother with each other, the one thing I'd be mindful of is the bioload of Oscars and Pleco's; they are both turd machines :O

Try a albino leopard sail fin same thing you got now but just albino.

Yes, I believe they told me he was from the gibbiceps variety. When I got him I didn't know he would grow to be so huge, but since I (thankfully) have a 200 Gal I am looking forward to that! I bought him when he was just the size of my pinkie for about 10dollars I think.

Albino is a great idea!

Besides the oscars? Or maybe some fish that would go well with an oscar.

Another pleco type to consider is the Adonis, it's jet black with white spots; though I think as Rotary suggested, an albino could be a really cool looking contrast to your current plec

maybe some small species of catfish or other cichlids of the same size. it's all about the tank size. to my experience, the bigger the oscar will get the more territorial it will be. lol as u can see in the pic i have an albino oscar with my pleco. sumtimes my oscar chases away my pleco but no harm done on both of them. i think they will be okay with your 200g. why dont u try some bichirs? since u like slow moving fish.
