Oh I like the idea of bichirs. Not sure how easy they are to get here tho

almost every lfs sells them. yeah, they would go perfectly with ure planted tank tht big especially with sand substrate like yours. how about discus fish? their cool hahah btw, u have lots of other options, but i would go most on cichlids though. list up wht u want and show it to ure lfs.

Yes, the original idea was 12 discus from a german breeder close by. However, I am not sure I am ready to commit to 12 delicate fish! I prefer the tough fish who don't give me too much trouble ;)

then i would prefer u go for discus or can even go with some other gentle community fish. or go for oscars, but remember oscars can really mess up your tank. how about arowanas?

I have 4 Tiger Oscars in my 240 with 12 Common plecos,3 Gold spotted sailfins, 3 Convicts, 3 Green Severums, and an RTC, Oscars are good with Plecos, forget the Adonis that's a pleco that can get to 39", the discus and a pleco not a good idea they are known to suck the slime of slow moving fish like discus, A similar pleco to yours would be a Gold spotted Sailfin. EBDJ look awesome and are great tankmates same with the Severums. L114 Leopard Cactus looks sharp too.

Plecos + bichir.... not a good ideia. The plecos may seriously harm the bichirs.

If you like slow moving fish, maybe yo ucan get the albino pleco that has been suggested and a few Severum (golden or - my favorite - "rotkeil") and Uaru.
Another good options are the true parrots (Hoplarchu psittacus) or chocolate cichlid (Hipselecara temporalis).

With 200 gallon you have lots of options.

Another ideia is to move to another continent and get a group of frontosa (Cyphotilapia). They are amazing slow moving fish and having a group in a living room tank is something!
