Your Aro doesn't seem to mind the lil' guys...very nice Yoj....
Thanks Zennz, he ignores them and just lets them be nice to watch the way they behave around one another.

I don't know if that aro happens to open his mouth while its swimming around like that he could probably inhale like 15 fish by accident ;)
LoL, they normally dont get that close to him and even if they do its usually to the back or at the very side of him.

i would add a school of silver dollars (or some other larger schooling fish. discus would be sweet if you have the cash), maybe 1 other large single specimen fish, and call it a day. if the arowana was smaller then those guys would be dinner.

I'm sure there is the occasional loss, for all of you doubters. But in a tank that size, and if kept well fed - the aro won't show all that much effort.

Somewhat similar to John's tank, where Sam - a 6 foot arapima, leaves alone fish that are under 12"

I thought about discus already, but dont think it would work as they dont like to be disturbed much and this tank is very active...I dont want to do silver dollar, geos, angels, or sevs either as they may be more adept to take out my tetras.
