2010. year of the Vieja Argentea.

hi everybody. just got hold of a new nikon camera on christmas day and went through the process off getting use to it and took a few random photo's of my colony of central american cichlids that are in my temporary growing-on tank.
sorry if the images seem to be a bit blueish. my aqua-glo tube stopped working and had to use a blue-moon tube. last but, not least thanks for looking and i wish you all a successful fishkeeping year in 2010.

Great fish they are on my 2010 fish to get list. A friend has some spawning so maybe it will happen.

using a nikon slr camera. im not sure of the model number cos got it for christmas. and thanks everyone.
i will take monthly updates on these fish and share my adventure with you guys. . . dont expect a huge change in size though, as these fish are notorious for growing slow.

go for it. these fish are beautiful. and kind of unique due to the pure white coloration as they mature and that unmistakable face mask.
A very characterful species and hardy.
