i just watched 2012 a coupled days ago.
actually...i watched it twice(too many groups of friends).
thought it was pretty good...but i hate that many parts had that "gonna die but just make it through".
its repetitive...
still,better than i expected.
how you guys find it?
 
I haven't seen it but I've seen the previews and commercials. The quizzical part they show is when the plane takes off. The plane is apparently flying thru fissures and falling highways and ground. I was like: how does that work? Lol.

seeing that preview made me write it off as a B movie but a lot of peeps are telling me it's a great movie.

Then again, one of them was a girl that said 'what happens in vegas' was a good movie. I don't trust her opinion.

well, it isnt the greatest movie EVER but you get what you pay for, lots of explosions,BIG earthquakes, tsunamis, mean people, nice people, mean peoples killing nice peoples, love, divorced couple realizing that they belong to each other after all,
and a nice little apocaplypse in the end.
 
Ive seen it twice also. Great movie, i agree with the so close to death but just made it scenes. Just a little unreal.
It is really not much more than equally good to The day after tomorrow.
Armageddon was waaayy better.

it isnt great,but pretty damn good compared to all he new crap thats been coming out recently.
i'd say best end of the world movie ive watched since Armageddon.
