I added black vinyl paper on the bottom. That was a big mistake on my part because all my bichirs got dark. I was thinking of changing to blue vinyl paper or adding terra cotta color tile. It just seem like a pain to redo the bottom so I never bother.I knew itYou should get gravel or paint it black or red or maybe both to get contast and colors on both bichirs and loaches
Holy moly that loach is huge!
what are you waiting for? There are still hidden places that sell 2" endli for 15$. Rich is gone for good so just appreciate what he did for the hobby.Your making me want another endi pile. Too bad we dont see em at the old Infinite aquatics price anymore. I miss Rich as a vendor...he was the man! I think i paid $12ea for my endi's back in the day @4". Id get another 20 at those prices.
i think they will look sweet too. The only problem is making the tile fit the tank. Any suggestion? The terracotta color will look sweet on them bichirs...

tank is 5x2x2. There is currently black vinyl paper on the bottom. I regret not going with a blue bottom to give better colors. Now that's the tank is running it's just too much work to drain and disconnect filter to change the vinyl paper on the bottom. For bichirs keepers I advised not to use black vinyl bottom and black back. LoLHow big is the tank?
I was actually suggesting a vinyl of the same color
If u possibly can ie... Stick the vinyl from the outside for the bottom.
I make it a practice for my tanks. I do this with black vinyl.
thanksGreat looking polys and loaches!
thanks. I think the giant loach is even bigger now.awesome looking fish ,never saw loaches that size ,,
oh ya it's so awesome to watch them swim under the driftwood branches. I learned all my fish personalities and get attached to all fish after awhile.Incredible tanks and fish!!! Must be an active spectacle to watch.
