Tanks are built, just need to cure, touch up, plumb, and finish the stand and canopy.

Of course my glass company screwed up my order, so my side panels are about 3/8" taller than the front and back. The fault is on me however for not verifying they were perfect before starting the build. If I had known I simply would've recut the sides down. No biggie since the sides will be somewhat obscured when the stand and canopy is complete.

Every weekend I make a bit of progress. The new tank has swapped spots with the 170, and I've attached a mock up of the stand and canopy I will most likely be working on for awhile. My carpentry skills are proficient, but are admittedly not up to cabinetry status, so this will be a learning experience no doubt.

Currently looking for a 72" led strip for this tank. After this tank is completed I'm revamping the 170 and 120 into a single sump stacked setup, which will open up much needed space in this room as well as run more efficiently. I'm not loving the lowboy stand like I thought I would.

Thanks all for following along!

Where is the special fish dude in the 170? Who is it? What species? Can you give us hints

Oh sorry. I mentioned that fish in a separate thread. Lenticulata pike i picked up from an lfs. His journey is ongoing.
