Okay so about 6-8 exodons with 50% weekly water changes? Also, what should I feed them? would a variety of frozen foods such as bloodworms and prawns work or would I need some sort of flake or pellet food as well?
both of the people I know used shrimp and bloodworms as treats and mainly used small carnivore sticks, I don't know about flake but they would probably take it. they did have to break them off the super meaty foods to dry foods though so you may want to start off w/ mainly prawn and bloodworm
I'd say go for a filter w/ a 30 ga. Minimum also to help w/ the bio load, 50% water changes would be good, I would cycle the tank with some super cheap fish or supplement w/ pure ammonia to get the cycle going for a bit before adding the fish.

Ctenopoma are pretty cool. It would recognize me and come begging for food. Similar to datanoid in personality, ambush predator. Also note I kept him with community fish that were to big to swallow. Banjo catfish. Roselike barb.

african leaf fish and leopard ctenopoma are the same thing, but they require at least 30 gallons
