Are you feeding your corals anything? Feather dusters are filter feeders & you need to dose the tank with DT's Phytoplankton at least 2x/week. Is your scooter eating prepared foods? They usually only eat live pods, which probably are going to be a big problem in a newly-established, smaller tasystem.

yes im adding all the additives my corals need. i got a pack of 1000 copepods to live in the rock and i got more live rock in it now so the scooter blenny has plenty of food now. thanks for asking.

how long was it set up before you added stuff. if i were you i would have got all the rock first and waited about 3 weeks and then a fish waited a week or two and then corals one by one

but if it works out for you congrats

lol this was an incredibly bad impulsive buy/idea. i went to the pet story adn bought $100 in corals and about 3 pounds of live rock and no fish. the tank was still half setup for my old puffers but was empty. i washed it out and added some water from my 55 gallon and shoved everything in with a coralife CF light and hoped for the best. now about a month and a half later everything is flourishing! after my bad idea i was like "oh jeeze this is gonna crash and burn and im gonna be out about $120!" but it worked and it looks really nice! about 10 lbs of live rock, 9 fish, 10 snails, a bunch more corals later it looks really nice and everything is growing!
