21" Rainbow trout!

Thanks for the comment guys, I greatly appreciate it. I am from Fresno, CA. My family and I fish for entertainment and for the joy of being outdoors. We catch and release but my mom loves trout so I assure you these fish will not be wasted.
 
Awesome trout!! In KY, the KDFWR releases trout in our local streams several times a year, I know around where I live, the trout will never make it year round. Some of these creeks are full of running water that are otherwise dry or have a few inches of water during the summer months. So when they stock these trout here, I take all that I'm allowed. Now down at Cumberlands Wolf Creek, this is a different story. This is a trophy trout stream. I'd say for the most part, most anglers do a very well job of releasing most of their catch, even if its legal to keep. Over the years this has made Wolf Creek a trophy stream where just about anyone can catch sme big rainbows and browns year around. Since the water is ice cold, they are there all year.

Where in fresno? I head up too Shaver Lake every year. Ive caught trout around 15" but never a 21". Tell your bro good job! Leaving at the end of augest to hopfuly catch a 22". Tons of photos to come.
