and that substrate really complements the fish present, especially the LSN

trade out your substrate again? lol. I might actually want to trade you for like half of it (depending on how much black you have). I have way more than I need in this tank and I'm thinking about going to black so the bichirs stand out more. I would still want enough red to use in my 125, which will house my "bass" for a while once they outgrow the 75.Angler;2639575; said:Lookin great like usual, Paul
I love your substrate. I might eventually trade out my sand for the red.
Is the NGT showing improvement from the last time I talked to you?

The NGT is eating feeders like crazy (even dead ones), but it's still not back to where it should be, so I'm going to keep feeding feeders and then try going back to shrimp or I may try some silversides and see if it eats those since it'll eat dead feeders. My damn creni still hasn't eaten since I put it in there and it's starting to look skinny. It wasn't eating much before, but it would eat shrimp and tilapia. I haven't seen it eat anything lately.
I picked up an 8"+ male "zaire blue" front from Bderick last night that I put in the 210.
oh, ok. well, i need to get rid of some of the red anyway, so it may work out depending on how much black you have left. i don't have the money to switch all of it out, but I def don't need this much red in here.Angler;2642489; said:I should have been more clear. I am thinking of changing the sand in the 55 gallon to the red to see if it will help the new FH color up more. So a trade might work out - I could probably get away with 40-45 lbs. I will have to check to see how much black sand I have left though. Definitely not enough for your whole tank, but at least you wouldn't have to buy as much.
I got the black in the 125 in order to bring out the colors of the bichirs more too. They look great on it. The only bichir that definitely looked better on the lighter sand is the Palmas Poly.
That's good to hear that the NGT is doing well. I hope the Creni pulls through for you.
That Front will be an awsome addition to your tank. Post pics of that guy!
