I’ll be 52 next week which means I’m officially into grumpy old man status but the older I get the more I dislike hyper aggressive fish. I’m not ready for a community tank full of neons but I just don’t want to wake up to dead fish anymore.

I bourcorti, black and jags from lfs in Charlotte and the Nics online from fish farmers daughter. Surprisingly, haven't had issue purchasing from fish farmers daughter. They have pretty good reviews and sells on eBay. Been getting fish here and there from them with no health issues and always active.
My old pair of maculicauda were good for the longest time until the male took a huge dislike to the female. He didn't like any other fish either. Hopefully growing up together yours won't be that bad.
It'll be a 50/50 shot. I had a large female before that was pretty calm but never had an opportunity with a male.
I’m in the northwest suburbs of Chiraq and there isn’t a store anywhere near me that I could walk in and buy those first three. I order at least 90% of my fish with the rest from GCCA members.
