First of all, love the name! And I agree with JC on the sump, pick up a 40G breeder at a petco/petsmart $1/gallon sale, order an overflow kit from glass-holes.com, pick up a decent pump and run some PVC and you'll be all set.

Now I just gotta buy the tank it's 700$ new at my lfs. I wish they had big tanks in my area on Craigslist but the only big tanks are in the Chicago area and that's 2 hours from me

you are better off ,tank wise, IMO, going new,,, EVERYTHING ELSE , purely whatever you want to spend,,,, any tank can be filtered and lit cheaply and effectively using several different methods ,,, but a tank that is all scratched up or leaks , sucks ALTHOUGH... I know people get good craigslist deals
