I bought one of the wifi enabled Inkbird temperature controllers for my second heater. Better to have the redundancy, I figured - I couldn’t imagine waking up some day to find that it stuck on.
It’s pretty cool - you can check the temp from outside the house!

Ordered some new food for the fishies -
I’d been feeding the 1 mm Vitalis cichlid formula for awhile - but I think they’re getting to a size now where they should be able to handle the 3 mm “Big Fella” pellets.
Maybe this will push growth a little more! They are so slow growing I’m starting to wonder if I’m not feeding enough or something.

I really like xtreme. I’m feeding the peewee atm. Also feeding bug pro & I have some large bug bites pellets that are 4mm l, but I think it’s too soon for my guys yet. I don’t wanna run the risk of them swallowing dry pellets w/out chewing properly and developing float 
They do grow sloooowwwwwlllllyyy mate. Providing their bellies aren’t sunken their growth should be maximized in a captive setting
