you would have to cut a hole for the bulkhead.

If you're asking if it'll crack if it's not supported the answer is no (unless you drop something heavy on the area).... the trim is what supports the tank. But like Ky said, you'll have to notch out your stand for the bulkhead.... just put in a riser with a strainer at the tip and use it as an overflow to an sump or FX5.
