Haha yes I am American. My outlook on filtration is go big or don't set up the tank at all. This tank will house some big fish until I am able to upgrade again.
So the aump runs through a filter sock on each end. The left side runs a custom wet dry which flows into a small submerged media section. The right side will run approximately 6 gallons of k1 and the pump sits in the center of the sump. Still have some fine tuning to do but the tank is cycling and first fish should go in this week.
