Nice Adonis! Pretty decent shot of the midas and jag sharing the 210, might be better off adding a few more fish TBH. I find that with 2 large fish alone, one ends up being dominant and bullying the crap out of the subdom. If there are some more fish in the mix, it takes the heat off of that guy. Definitely planned overstocking will take place. Midas, maybe the pair. Gonna grow a few of my pink convicts out. Putting my saxatillis pike in there as well. It's definitely a work in progress, hopefully the initial stock will work. I'm not holding my breath.

You've got the right idea, I would probably avoid pairs though, adds a whole new wrench in the mix. And convicts work great as "cichlid dithers" if they are big enough.

If you remember, I had my midas pair and convict pair housed in a 125 for nearly a year before I had any issues. My male midas is super mellow except towards me generally speaking. It's the female that I worry about.
