Fishnut,I will have to concur with you on your accuracy on rating those fish store.I'm so tired of wasting gas that I just order from TUIC(Jeff Rapp)and overnight shipping to Philly is only 20 dollars.Check into it if your into Central or South America Cichlids.I just order some cool fish from him that I never seen in any fish store.

Go to Capatin Nemo's (formerly Big Al's) in Norristown. Germantown Pike & Rte. 202. The place has alot of tanks, good fish and cheap prices. 5,000 gallon shark tank also.

$20 in shipping for Rapps???? damn I need a bigger fish tank...

yep, it beats driving 2 hours with these gas prices....Its 20 bux because we live within a couple of hours..So it travels by ground not air......For any other state its probally the norm.......

I finally made it out to the Hidden Reef.... and I wasnt that impressed with their freshwater live stock..., they have alot more dry goods now but the freshwater fish quality and selection was sub par.... They had better stuff when they were in that hole in the wall... I'll try them again this week.., maybe they were just not doing to good that day or week..... No rays either..., hell.., not even a tank above the size of a 210.., I'd say...

I live around the corner from them. They rarely/never have good freshwater live stock. Great prices on dry goods though.

I like big cichlids and tough to find stuff and they are no so good in that department..There old place seemed to have more oddball stuff......Dry goods are good..got a fx5 for like 190.oo which is purdy good...
