22" Indian Mottled Eel - Overflow Edition!

Here's a look at one of my big boys, Anguilla bengalensis. He likes using the two corner overflows as caves. It used to be pretty irritating not having him in the main tank, but it seems content in the overflow so I'm not really bothered by it anymore. If anyone wants to stick there hand in there to get him out, be my guest. Otherwise he only comes out to swim across the tank into the other overflow.

What does he eat and how much? My A. rostrata only eats like 2 slivers of tilapia that are about 1.5 inches long. Then again he's fed just about every other day.

He just gets a chunk of tilapia or two a night. Sometimes every other night. About a 1-2" piece, I try to save a thick one for him since he just gets one.
