Got a 4 day weekend so why not work on the tank. Holes cut in back of stand and mounting some power strips. Also painting the back of tank black.
220 build update.

Been putting a lot of Work on the tank too getting it cleaned up.
I used Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X semi gloss. I usually use a latex outdoor paint and roll it on but I heard this works good too so I tried some.
I was going to level it but it's spot on, diagonally and everything. So I won't be doing anything now.
Been through both filters and replaced what o-rings needed to be replaced. This FX-5 is practical new, I think I have more use on my FX-6. I have a 5 gallon bucket of this ehiem coco puff media which the 2262 is full of with the green floss stuff on top. The FX-5 the bottom tray I have the green floss then trays two and three have media and of course I'll run the sponge pads on the outside. Their both ready to go now, just need some miscellaneous suction cups and that funky u shaped deal for the FX hose for over the lip of the tank.
One thing to mention, I just realized that the braces on your tank are two small plastic pieces that are attached to the rim of the tank. I would make sure that those are not brittle, cracked, or broken. I only mention it because my 220 has a very large glass brace siliconed into the middle. It is about 16" wide.
