220 Dovii tank

Well I guess since my 7 inch Dovii has taken over the tank and he is my favourite fish I will have to redo the tank to make him as comfortable as possible.

Here is a picture of the tank as is and him. I estimate he is between 9-12 months old. I really don't know as he has been with me for 2 months and was at the LFS for 3 months in a very small tank. He may be stunted. He was given to the LFS by someone as he was destroying their tank. I would love some advice as to how to make it as natural for him as possible and any other advice from the more experienced keepers. My plan is now to keep him for life alone in this tank. Dimensions are 6x2x2.5

At least you have a tank for him for a long time to come. I am sure he will turn into a monster and a stunner once he grows.

Dovii are nasty fish so keeping him alone is a great idea.

I have always had smaller 55 and 75 gallon tanks until I was given this one last year. The lady who owned it was the grand mother of a friend and could no longer take care of it. She said she would rather give it to me for free as no one in her family could not be bothered cleaning and selling it for her. It was a lot of work to clean and move but was worth it. The only down side is that the wife said it was too big for the lounge room. I guess I'll just have to turn the garage into my man cave!
