So you must be new to this GF thing? It's never one thing like "a little spilt water". There's always underlying crap like drinking too much, too much time spent playing on the computer, or my fav continue dating after marriage......

lol

Stay away from the merlot. Stay with the ice water, plenty of ice water, and gatoraid. Merlot's evil... an evil evil drink. Everything else I stand behind :D

Did you have any type of insurance that you had to pay out of your pocket for the cleanup?

Its all out of pocket. We rent and I couldn't find renter's insurance that would cover the tank. its already north of 3k and they arent done yet. It will be ATLEAST thursday before they are. And because of the 2 month old son we are having to stay in a hotel on top of that cost.

Ah man hope everything turns out well.

Had a 125 gallon leak over 15 gallons into living room, 15 gallons is a drop compared to 220 gallons, and 15 ruined my living room.

That really sucks man. I hate insurance companies they are more than happy to take your money if there is really no chance youll need them. If you have somthing that they feel they may have to pay for in they future then they give you no coverage. Guess thats just the messed up world we live in. That was the first thing.i checked out on my homeowners policy i have deductible but covered, thank god. Hope things start looking up for you soon. I know its been stressful for you and your family.

Its crazy when you think about dumping 4 55g drums of water in your living room then trying to clean it up. Plus its vintage hardwood floors from the 1940's. Atleast it wasn't saltwater I guess...
