I completely understand. The Fx5 runs about $230+ and your pump brand new runs about $150. Just looking at cost. So yes the sump works better, probably much better, but you probably built it for around the same price as an Fx5. Thats all I was getting at. :)
 
Your absolutely correct, I paid 160 for my pump at lowes. My tank, stand, and canopy cost 2000 at aquarium paradise in tacoma, I have a receipt as proof. I easily have another 1000 or more in equiptment. So I thought less than half (1200) is a fair price for everything I have. And im accepting offers.
