  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just found this site, and it states that there not as aggressive as other arowanas(whether or not that varies to them being aggresive to other fish; i'm not sure)

That site also says asian aros grow three to four feet

If you can find the dough, go for an RTG... you will not regret it.

OR, if thats too much $$$, you could get a LEICHARDTI. They are a thinner species, not as thick and bulky as their jardini cousin (at least until later on). Less aggressive too, usually.

Really? with the abundance of aro owners here on MFK you go and out source:duh:
hahahhaha, it was a link in an older thread on MFK......
Gonna have to mow a lot of lawns to buy an Asian aro. I would go RTG or XB. Or maybe Chili Red.:)
way out of my "budget" for now ...

Well, I think I'm going to pass on the Asian Aro for now(just to expensive right now). Below is a stock I would wish to have. Please let me know if you belive I will run into major agression issues...

2: "EX" Cichlasoma Ornatus
2: Cichlasoma Istlanum "red"
2: Paratheraps Zonatus
2: Herichthys Pantostictus
1: Vieja sp.?
1: Paratilapia Bleekeri
Possibly some Bichirs..

Also, I was looking at Andinoacara Stalsbergi; how rare/exotic are they?
