it's 1600 pounds empty...... aprox 22,000 pounds filled.

My 300 acrylic is 3/4 thick and it weights maybe 250 pounds.

My acrylic 300 is lighter than my 110 glass tank, but I don't know how much it weighs.

Myself and a friend moved mine into my house (lifting it 5 ft off of the ground to get around my fireplace) with ease.

I am sure something is wrong there. My 250g is glass and weighs in at 364 lb. If your weight came from the manufacturer, they may have upped the weight to cover shipping costs of the equipment and/or stand.

i was just about to say the same. i have a 110g tall that is glass. it took me and a buddy to move it into the house after it was renovated. on the flipside, when i got my 240gl acrylic me and my 5'3" 100pd wife moved the 240 into the house.
