2200 gal tank setup

Unfortunately I can't get it because he has deliveries pretty much all day Saturday. I'll ask a few buddies at work tomorrow about finding something. I'll plan on going to indy friday night so we can leave sat. morn:D:D

Can you still get the come alongs and chains and straps?

apparently when his shop burned he lost all of the come alongs and chains.

I can get some big nylon straps though.

I'll be there! I was able to get free...just had to tell them that I have to move a 2200 gallon tank...lol.

...as I read this post, I'm baffled..:confused:
it took 4 guys to move my 180 gal glass tank & almost earned a hernia...
now, if this weights 1600 lbs, then it would take at least 10 guys@ 160lbs each or 20 guys at 80lbs each (that's the weight of a cement bag) to lift this tank's death weight???

...a forklift would be more like it...pictures of the moving pleassssee & best of luck to y'all...

ppsssttt? how did the tank get to its current location? are you sure it wasn't built, piece by piece right on location & never lifted?
 
4 guys to move a 180? did you recruit them from the local elementary school? :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL:

I've been told that wheels, chains, comealongs, and possibly even winches will be involved in the process. haha:D
 
What are the dimensions supposed to be?
