2200gal tank

looks like a perfectly good tank to hold a schoal of 5000 lampeyes........imagine that! nothing but silver and little red eyes.

It would be neat to see a group that big.
 
i know, awesome idea (i'm guessing 5000 is too big of a number of them?)

but really i'd say go for some BIG fish, u can do small ones in a small tank, if ur getting a huge tank, big fish need to be there.

I'm kinda over the big fish..... I already have a 300 and a 265 with big fish.

I'm a little concerned about the weight- 22,000 pounds. I'm planning on putting it in my fish room and it has a concrete floor but 22,000 is 22,000.

The tank is 11'x6' with an area of 66 square feet... sooo it comes out to 333.33 pounds per square foot.

Since the floor isn't level I will have to build some kind of a base for it.

Big steel, tons of supports, and good distribution of weight will make it no problem:D
