digging the flag and the build. good work man. keep the updates and pictures coming

Thanks...That was the last thing I got from my mom after my PawPaw passed away.
His ship was in 5 naval battles in WW2 before it was decommissioned. I thought it would look good built into my tank wall. I will also have 2 deer heads on the wall. one on each side of the flag. that is after i finish rocking the wall. this is going to take a while..lol

well a 225 was all i could talk my wife into in the brand new house..lol
I did make a deal with her and she stated that after my son graduates i can build my large tank with an addition to the house. i only have 2 years for that.
so i can play around with the 225 till then.

I have a stupid question for everyone.
Do you think i could run the output from both FX5'S to the input to the DIY brute trash can bio filter? This way i could cut down on the overflow box. i could always tee off the pumps and run the extra back thru the filter again if it draws to much water rather than cutting the pump back.
What do you think??????????????????????

I LOVE the idea of just building a wall seems so much easier if you know what you're doing. My only question is why not rip up the carpet behind the tank because you know it's gonna get wet. I have a carpeted floor in my room with my 125 mom flips everytime she sees it get wet haha

This is going to look amazing. If we had more room in my house I could talk my wife into this in about 5 minutes. The best part is you can hide all the internals behind the wall and have a really nice access point. Should cut down on noise levels as well. I love in-wall tanks, almost like really awesome nature channel only TVs. Keep up the good work.

That's another wife issue. She said leave the carpet so when I take down the tank we wont have a bare spot. I will be building my dream monster tank in 2 years when my son graduates school. So I will put down a tarp or something to help out the carpet situation.
