thanks! and progress has been going really slow as I mentioned in earlier posts. My basement is still super packed due to the fact my mom is a light-weight hoarder lol She argues with me daily about getting rid of things so hopefully I can get her to atleast point out things she NEEDS to keep rather than WANTS to keep. There are so many unopened boxes down there that take up so much room. If it was up to me I would have a big ass garage sale and just get rid of everything. Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated as good as I can. I'm in the middle of changing jobs so if this new job comes through I should have a LOT of progress coming! Wish me luck!

BUILD QUESTION?
Where is the best place to drill for the overflows? How much spacing should I give between overflows and tank's edges?
(Where will be strongest, most structurally sound?)

depends on where you want the overflow pipe to be on the outside really.
ive stuck mine (on this build) in the top left on the side. because of the tank being flush against the wall on the backside!
as for spacing. put an inch gap inbetween the entire bulkhead. so... drill a 40mm (if thats the size) hole. put the bulkhead in. mark an inch. that mark is the outside of the next hole. dont worry about it being structurally sound as it will have a bulkhead wedged and secured in there!
have you decided what kind of in overflow system u are using?
im using removable stand pipes in side the overflow. pics tomorrow hopefully! the reason im using standpipes is that i can adjust them in place.

I will probably put them in the back of the tank at the top where I want my water level to be. That way I just run PVC on the outside of the tank rather than having stand pipes or a hang on the back overflow on the inside. gives it more of a clean look. Only PVC in the tank will be the filtered water exit into the tank. using stand pipes would be nice though because you could adjust your water level as needed unlike having a fixed overflow in the rear wall. I will have some sort of mechanical filtration on the overflow too to avoid any pellets, feeders or smaller fish getting inside the pipes and constricting the flow rate.

thank you! yes they are mine. i have a couple pairs and a bit of growouts. try c.o.a. or the wetspot. they both have some smaller wc and f1s. decent price and they will be on your doorstep in 2 days.
for a thought on external bracing you could check out my 300 ish build the actual build is on another site (pm me and i will send you the link) but here is a pic of my tank so far. external dimensions are 76" by 36" by 29" tall. inside dimensions are 72" by 32 inch by 26 inches tall at water level
thanks for the info. I am probably gonna try and get a pair soon. Do you know if either of those stores have wholesale discounts? I might just order a bunch for my store if I get a good price quote. We go through them super fast so if I could get a good amount in that would be awesome for me and the store.

Nice tank! Love the driftwood pieces. It's hard to find interesting pieces. And I might do exterior bracing. I'm not sure if it will be need, but it would only help so it's a good chance I will do some sort of exterior bracing. Did you build the tank inside the bracing or did you build the bracing around the tank? I would think doing the exterior bracing first would make it more structurally sound, but I'm no carpenter so I'm not sure?
