225 or 220?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would go for the deeper tank, but I am 6'9" and can reach the bottom. You really need to be able to reach the bottom.

Thanks I appreciate it. Is yours the RR version? If so I was having a had time finding the max flow rate...any ideas? thanks
Yes I have the Pro (RR) version. It has 1 center overflow box with 3x1" drains and 2x3/4" returns. You probably won't believe my answer but I run 2x Laguna maxflo 2000's with no flow reducers and my drains can easily handle both pumps AND my python filling the tank at the same time. So flow will never be an issue. It can handle TONS!!!

Nice, yeah I saw it had 3 returns. Glad to hear I was hoping to get at a 10x turnover. Also Mark great looking tanks.

2 returns and 3 drains

Thanks for the compliment.

I'm running 2 mag 18s and the overflows can handle quite a bit more. You'll be happy with the DSA 225
