Very nice Mr rob.
Always a fan of your tanks.
I bought a group of Severum a couple of weeks ago. They seem like good cichlids to keep with rays.
Have you changed anything regarding your tank maintenance since keeping rays?
I knew you would.Back to libs, me like
That's pretty much the same for me.I had to add a pump for better flow and add an airstone. Water changes have moved to once every five days. Also have to maintain my filters more often. I have canisters and I'm actually looking at sump options. Scared to move forward with a sump since I will have to use an overflow box and I'm worrried about flooding.
I feed mine pellets and occasional silversides. It's all about time for me right now given my newborn son. It's hard to prepare food and do more right now. Had to shut down a tank to only run four given how little time I have with him and my career. That's pretty much the same for me.
I added some powerheads for extra flow and oxygen, and my water change has stepped up to twice a week.
They are worth the extra effort though.
What are you feeding yours?
Mine is crazy for prawns and chopped worms and eats them greedily, I would like to see her eat more foods though.i offer her mussels and Lance fish but she seems reluctant.
Tell me about it.Ive got a 1 year old daughter. I know exactly what you mean.I feed mine pellets and occasional silversides. It's all about time for me right now given my newborn son. Thank you. It's tough juggling it all. Can't wait til he is big enough to do my water changes for his allowance!Tell me about it.Ive got a 1 year old daughter. I know exactly what you mean.
Congratulations by the way.
No upgrade while I live here. No walk out in the basement and stairway is too narrow for anything wider than two feet. You gonna try to stick with a male bd or is an upgrade in your future?
