22in Fire Eel HELP! Haven't Seen It Eat Over A Year!

Finally witnessed him eat. He seems to only like red worms. So I'm wondering...it's literally been over a year and everyone is saying he has to have eaten something, but I literally watch my fish until all of the food appears to be gone 98% of the time I feed, and seeing him finally eat red worms, and the way he eats them, I'm almost more convinced that this is the first time he's eaten in a year. Could it be possible?

Yep...I had some in the past that would eat anything as well. But I do remember having one of those spiny eels (tire track, black leopard, or fire...can't remember which) that would only eat red worms. At least my paranoia has been put to rest and if nothing else, I'll make sure my guy gets some red worms.

Glad to hear. Fire eels are some of the coolest fish IMO.
