230 gal catfish tank, stand, canopy, sump

ok well i uploaded a little out of order. but here is the run down....constructed my stand of 4x4's. notched the ends for added strength. counter sunk some 8" lag bolts to connect it all together.
 
the 230 was picked up from a guy who used it for a single shark setup. the tank is drilled on the top so i wanted my plumbing to actually run behind the tank and stand.
 
i happened to have a 55gal laying around and sump....it will be. even better that it would fit pretty tight under my stand.
 
i caulked and sealed the bottom of the stand, to hold approx. 26gal of water. if i ever had an overflow. i shot the inside of the stand white, so once the cabinet is enclosed, the lights i mounted inside would make for easy maintanence at any time.
 
as you see, the white with the lights, and the black backed 55gal sump...its super easy to work at anytime underneath this thing
 
Thats not bad.. But would be nice if u added the side panel for the tank..

btw.. thanks for the 150 gallon! ;)
 
no problem, hope its still working out for you. this one will be available soon. side panels are being made by my cabinet guy. im kinda picky when it comes to finished look. the doors have glass inlays, so it should look great once its done.
