2 uarus are usually fine but if you wanted more you could get away with 3 uarus, 3 severums, one jack dempsey and probably 4-5 cryptoheroes. Just have to be careful when stuff starts breeding because it will if you're keeping that many fish together. Its easier to control if you throw down some tera cotta pots in the corners of the tank. CA/SA cichlids almost always spawn on these compared to picking a random spot in the middle of the tank to spawn. This way their territories are easier to defend and theres not as much fighting because other fish won't go to that side of the tank when they know whats up.

i would go for 4-5 uaru and 3 rotkiels or other sevs. then you could add some smaller stuff for the "suporting staff" just depends on what you like.

) i would have a green terror no questions asked, mine is amazing and stops fights all the time between other fish (i have read that this is one of their trates which is pretty handy in an aggressive tank). i have just introduced a small jag who seems to be getting on fine as well.
i would also consider i large cat fish of some description as they dont seem to get picked on by cichlids and grow to a good size. if you fancy a bit of oddball action you could consider a polypterus of some description (the ornates seem to be the most active and colourful, and as long as they are not to small when introduced should have no problem)
i have been keeping my eye out for a red texas cichlid as well, they look absolutely stunning, in the end you have bags of space so as long as you dont go for a mega preditor like a dovi you sould be fine.
oh oh oh amost forgot how about a gar? seen them in cichlid tanks no problem before

thnx for your input mate ive seen green texas but havnt seen any red ones though,im not a oddball person lol as for the gar i have not seen one as of yet. i havnt really seen any larger side of the catfish only like common and sailfin plecs i thought about having an aggressive tank with jack dempsey,green terror,jaguar and that sort of fish but i also like peaceful tanks lol with severums especially rotkiels
and t-bars but after that im stuck im not keen on angels and geos so im kind of stuck.
