what types of cans are they? I might have to look into something like this for the future.

Cool. This is definately going to be a good resource when I look into my next filtration upgrade after moving things to a larger tank.

Wow, I just looked them up and you got them for a steal! I'm trying to figure out what sort of filtration i need to upgrade to no that I'm picking up my 150 today.

I know, i couldnt believe when he said you can have all 3 cans and 4 monster uv sterilizers for 50 bucks....i almost peed when i paid him lol....all I had on my 150 was 2 canisters, one was a odyssea cfs4 and a magnum 300...worked pretty well, cleaned the canisters about every 6 months, rarely did water changes, mostly just cleaned the sand...then again all I had in there was a retic stingray and an arowana

Yeh, my flowerhorn isn't going to know what to do in such a large tank. I'm thinking about a school of Silver Dollars with him. i have a canister set up that i'm going to swap over from my old tank, but I will definately need to keep an eye out for a deal like this on some monster cans!

Have you thought about giving a sump a shot...i just picked up another 75g with stand for 80 bucks (im the king of CL lol)...Im doing a sump setup on this one cause ive never done one before, plus i hate my neighbors downstairs and I have renters insurance so if it floods I wont be mad

hahaha, yeah I'd looked at sumps but I've liked the ease of use for the canisters. I have enough filtration right now to run the 150gal, but i might look at adding another H.O.T. Magnum for polishing. I saw one online for $50 new in the box yesterday.
