About how deep do you think your sand bed is?looks pretty deep for just 150lbs. Must be good coverage. I'm really torn between that & PFS. I keep coming back & looking at this tank.

It is probably 1.5" - 2" deep in brandons tank

I like both types of sand and I have both types of sand , in my opinion PFS is a little better because I have never seen it in my filters, but I have seen some black blasting sand in my filters... but I think the black sand looks best. Have u thought about mixing the PFS and black diamond blasting sand? That looks cool

ok plans decided "male show tank" gonna pack it to the brim with male cichlids to see if they take the African way of live and if they are pack tight enough they wont fight

They are some lovely fish man congrats!

I take it the texas looking fish is the hybrid? his amazing I wish we could get fish like that down here.
