Not to be a Debbie downer and I hope you fix the problem, sucks that it's so ongoing as well.

When you silicone that patch you should just let it cure on its on. Using a space heater can dry it out faster and not cure. I've resealed a dozen tanks and the first bunch that I tried using a heater to speed up by a day had little success. Once I let them cure for minimum 4 days I have yet to have any issues with my sealing jobs. Also I'm sure you don't want to hear this but if you do fix it, I wouldn't recommend continuous use from all the problems you're having. Never know how it'll react from all the pressure put on it once it's going.

Best of luck.

So today, I said the hell with it and decide what do I have to lose. I removed the trim, all the new and old silicone. First removed the side trim and then the trim underneath. I finally found the culprit. When the tank cracked, it went all the way to the end which the bottom trim covered, in three different spots, which you can see two in the photo and the third one shows where its headed too. So obviously it was always going to leak. So I removed both sides of the trim, its nice and clean now but not when this photo was taken. I need to remove the three pieces of glass I put underneath, clean them up and move them to the end, touching the back and side panels of glass. Doing this should fix this problem. I will be working on it all night.
