i only use vinegar or vodka and HOT water to clean anything that has to do with my fish. problem with acrylic is that you can't really scrub it, anything abrasive will scratch it.

i'm gonna suggest, vinegar or vodka, with boiling or near boiling water and a soft cloth.

Vinigar all the way, no matter how cheap it is useing vodka for cleaning is alcohol abuse.....

have you ever tried to drink $5 per gallon vodka? it's only true purpose is cleaning.. i promise.

+1, i also used the Mr clean magic eraser, and it worked great on the saltwater residue and what not. Make sure you get the normal one with no suds/soaps.

Good point on the magic eraser, do not get the variety with soap, etc.

I got the vinegar and the magic eraser. Some of it came out but some is really being a pain. The magic erasers are getting torn up really fast running over it. But its just a matter of time. There are only about 20 small spots left.
