They are pretty passive, they dont go out of their way to attack fish, but have no problem protecting themselves/partners. But males are alot more aggressive towards eachother, but only if there is a female in the tank. otherwise they just dont really care. I only keep em b/c i love how huge their mounths are and how many feeders they can get down, they put my pbass to shame.
