I sold my 210 and have a divider in my 240 because my dovii is nuts. I have a buyer who is willing to pay $100 for the dovii (see avatar). What should I do? The choices are:

Keep the single 13-14 inch f1 Rapps dovii, or

Go with the community which currently includes

13 inch jag
13 inch Buttikoferi
13 inch Bocourtti
11 inch Red Devil
8 inch Loiselli
9 inch Freddy
7 inch Salvini
9 inch JD
2 5-6 inch Cons
4 inch tex/con

What would you do?

I voted for keeping the community. A single dovii tank is great, I wouldn't be able to let mine go without a good reason either. Well, that community stocklist is just that reason.

Keep the Dovii-BTW those are too many fish for your 240 gallon-be careful of the Butti. can get nasty.

That's not too many for a 240. Four of those fish are 7 inches or less. They get along fine, I keep up with maintenance, and have excellent filtration. The butti is easy going. The Jag and Red Devil rule the tank but are not aggressive. Although I think you are wrong about the community stocking for an 8 ft tank, I appreciate your input on keeping the dovii.

How are the aggression levels in the tank now that it is divided and the fish have less space?

Fine except the two male cons occasionally lock up. I will be making the decision very soon to give them or the dovii the full 8 ft.

Hey, more power to you-Terd did it and his stock list was also high-if you see no problems then go for it-ultimately it is was you want, and as long as the fish are happy then go for it.
